Truly independent. No vendor ties.
We have worked inside law firms and inside the vendors that sell to them, and we are tied to none of them. Whether you are choosing a system, renewing a contract, preparing a security review, or concerned about how AI could affect your security and your client data, our advice is shaped only by what is right for your firm.
Truly independent. On your side.
We have sat on both sides of legal technology projects: inside the law firm buying the system, and inside the vendor building and delivering it. That is exactly why our advice belongs to the firm, and to no one else.
No vendor ties
We are not a reseller, partner or preferred supplier of any vendor, and we don't host, resell, license or manage any software or infrastructure. The only things we sell are advice and project management. We recommend the best fit for your firm and everyone who has to make it work, including, in the long run, the vendor. A good fit brings stability to every party, and avoids the conflict that follows when something fundamental is missing and has to be developed on the fly.
Honest, even when it is unpopular
If a product, a proposal or a project plan is not right for your firm, we will tell you, even when it is not what a vendor wants to hear. A poor fit might close a sale and hit a sales target, but it helps no one else: your firm lives with the gaps, the vendor’s support and client service teams spend years firefighting, and the vendor’s reputation takes the hit. In the long run, the best fit is the best fit, for everyone.
Experience from both sides
Having bought, built and delivered these systems, we know where projects go wrong, and where sales promises run ahead of delivery.
Clear about who we work for
If a vendor engages us to project manage an installation, we say so up front. The only thing we take from that work is up-to-date knowledge of their system. It never buys a recommendation.
Thinking of moving?
When a system feels like it is holding the firm back, replacing it looks like the answer. Sometimes it is. More often, the real gaps are in configuration, workflow and training, and a new system brings the same problems with a bigger bill and a year of disruption.
Before you commit to a move, find out what your current investment could already deliver. If moving is the right answer, you will go into it with clear requirements and a plan to adopt it properly.
